Rare limited edition 1999 vintage armchair designed by Noboru Nakamura for Ikea as a tribute to Finnish Alvar Aalto’s 1939 ”Armchair 406”.
Base has been Ikea Poäng chair, good for very extensive production numbers. Who doesn’t know the original?
Very comfortable by combination of bended wooden frame and braided natural leather seat with an adjustable leather headrest cushion.
Condition is very good, with some smaller wood imperfections and only minor scratches on the patinated leather.
