Shallow dish designed by Per Lütken for Holmegaard. Sweden, 1960s

375.00

Shallow dish designed by Per Lütken for the Swedish company Holmegaard. The dish has beautiful fluid and organic shapes with a green/grey color of the glass. Lütken designed this type of dish in 1952, but the one presented here is probably from the 1960s.

Per Lütken, who died in 1998, at one point became chief designer and art director at the companies Holmegaard and Kastrup. Because he was a pioneer with a magnificent sense of form, his designs have had a great influence on Scandinavian modern design.

The dish is in very good condition with only some normal signs of wear. No chips on the glass. Please note that each dish is made freely by hand without using molds. That’s why every bowl is a little different.

H x W x D = 10 x 36 x 31 cm / 4 x 14.2 x 12.2 inch.
