The Knole sofa, which takes its name from a village in Kent, is said to be one of the first upholstered seating furniture in England (we are talking about the 17th century). The sofa is in very good condition, and incredibly comfortable to sit in. It has a very special sitting experience because the sides are high. It gives a great feeling of security. Very cosy.
