Beautiful table that was most likely used as a refectory table in a monastery. The table is made of solid oak, and has the typical ‘brancard’ crossbeam between the two legs.
The table is very sturdy and has a very nicely aged patina corresponding with age and use. Looking at the wear and tear, I think that the table was made somewhere between 1940 and 1960. Made in Belgium.
The table can be used perfectly as a dining table and accommodates 6 people easily.
