‘Sintesi’ Wall Lamp by Ernesto Gismondi for Artemide, Italy, 1975

0.00

Extremely rare ‘Sintesi’ wall lamp designed in 1975 by Ernesto Gismondi for the Italian brand Artemide.

This architectural lamp can be placed in almost any position and is véry playful. Which makes sense because Gismondi was not only the founding father of Artemide, but also became one of the founders of the 1980s Avand-Garde ‘Memphis’ design group, known for their colourful and playful designs.

The lamp came in different variations where this is the lamp without the aluminum lampshade. It has a beautiful colour that I would best describe as Petrol Blue Purple?? This lamp was manufactured in the 1980s and has only minimal signs of wear. No longer produced today. Note: the length of the arm is adjustable.

H x W x D = +- 56 x 40 x 70 cm / 22 x 15.7 x 27.6 inch.
