550.00

‘Sintesi’ wall lamp designed in 1975 by Ernesto Gismondi for the Italian brand Artemide.

The lamp came in different variations where this is the desk lamp without the aluminum lampshade. This lamp was manufactured in the 1980s and has only minimal signs of wear. No longer produced today. The shade and arm are adjustable. It’s colors are black and grey.

This architectural lamp is very much in the ‘Memphis’ style, which makes sense because Gismondi was not only the founding father of Artemide, but also became one of the founders of the 1980s avant-garde ‘Memphis’ design group, known for their colourful and playful designs.
