This Italian sideboard ‘Sheraton SH-2’ is designed in 1977 by Giotto Stoppino and manufactured by Acerbis Int.
The idea was to design a simple and sober sideboard of high quality. As a result Stoppino designed a sideboard consisting of only two 1 mtr wide doors and a top. But how to open a 1 mtr wide door elegantly? Together with Acerbis Stoppino figured out the very stylish system that could do this. So to open a door you first slide it sideways and then you pivot the door open around it’s middle. Because of its looks and technoligy the sideboard won several prices.
It’s signed, painted in ‘high gloss’ and in very good condition. Only minimal traces of use. The storage compartment is 200 cm/78,7 inch wide and the sideboard can be dismantled into two pieces for transport.
H x w x d = 70 x 280 x 50 cm / 27,6 x 110,2 x 19,7 inch
