Rare set of shaker styled wingback chairs.

0.00

Very rare set of shaker styled wingback chairs. Their robust and simple architecture gives these chairs a brutalist or Japandi look. I’ve never seen a set like this before.

The chairs are made of light coloured beech wood and they are very sturdy.

The chairs are probably made in Belgium and dates from the 1960s. Unfortunately the designer and manufacturer are unknown. De Puydt maybe? They are in very good condition with a beautiful patina consistent with age and use.

The chairs are sold without their cushions and headrests. The small holes in the back are meant for a headrest.

Price is for the set.

H x W x D = 90-30 (without cushion) x 63 x 73 cm / 35.4-11.8 x 24.8 x 28.7 inch.
