Solid Oak Monastery or Refectory Table, circa 1900

0.00

Beautiful oval table that was most likely used as a refectory table in a monastery. The table is made of solid oak, and has the typical ‘brancard’ crossbeam between the two legs.

The table is very sturdy and has a very nicely aged patina corresponding with age and use. Looking at the wear and tear, I think that the table was made somewhere between 1875 and 1925. Made in Belgium by the way.

The table can be used perfectly as a dining table and accommodates 6 people easily.

H x W x D = 76 x 260 x 76 cm / 29.9 x 102.4 x 29.9 inch
