Very elegent and stylish pair of Savonarola chairs with matching stool. The chairs are from the 1960s and upholstered in a cherry red velvet.
The seats and backrest are attached to a black metal frame that is still in very good condition. As far as the fabric is concerned, I think there are people who think it should be renewed. However, I will pass this decision on to the new owner so that he or she can choose the colour according to their own wishes. But for me, the seats are just fine the way they are. The chairs and stool are richely decorated with copper elements.
I don’t know who the designer or manufacturer is, but the chairs and stool are most probably of French or Italian origin.
