This folding bed was designed by Wim Rietveld in 1954 and is Auping’s anwer to people who were still living small and in need of these kind of practical pieces. The bed is in good vintage condition with the original matras. Wear and tear on the base consistant with age and use. Very easy and quick to handle, spring matras still strong.
Wim Rietveld was the son of Gerrit Rietveld.
