Beautiful rural coffee table with contemporary architecture.
The table is made of solid Wengé which makes it very special. Solid wenge is extremely rare.
I suspect that the table is Dutch and was made to order. I don’t think there is a second one.
Looking at the screws and the general patina I think the table is from the 50’s or 60’s. But it could also be antique, that is certainly possible.
The table is in véry good condition with only a little wear and tear corresponding with age and use. It has a very nice dark colour with a beautiful drawing of the wood. It has a warm and contemporary look.
