“Farmer” Easy Chairs Designed by Gerd Lange for Bofinger

0.00

Two wooden chairs designed by German designer Gerd Lange for Bofinger, a German manufacturer. The chairs are from the “Farmer series” that was designed in 1966 and consisted of a chair, coffee table, cabinet and bed.

The chairs are made of ash wood with a canvas seat and backrest. The whole is still very sturdy and strong with only some normal traces of use. A nice patina on the wood and some very shallow ‘spots’ on the canvas. The backrest can tilt and be slid forwards and backwards.

Price is for the set.

H x W x D = 72-32 x 65 x 65 cm / 28.3-12.6 x 25.6 x 25.6 inch

Note: The chairs are not glued or screwed together (Japanese construction) but are still very sturdy. Nice detail, right?
