A beautifully proportioned cabinet designed by Cees Braakman for the Dutch manufacturer Pastoe. Part of the Made to Measure series, originally designed in the 1950s.
What makes this cabinet so appealing is its playful composition. The warm teak exterior contrasts beautifully with the black back panels, while the off-white door adds an unexpected touch of colour. The open shelves, drop-down doors and adjustable aluminium legs complete the design.
The cabinet has a light and open appearance. Its clean lines and interesting arrangement of compartments make it an attractive piece for both modern and eclectic interiors.
We also have a smaller cabinet from the same Pastoe series available. Both work beautifully on their own, but they look particularly good together. Their matching materials and different layouts create a playful composition, with plenty of possibilities for arranging them side by side.
The cabinet is still in very good condition.
