1980s Chaise Longue “Karel Doorman” by Rob Eckhardt for Pastoe

0.00

Postmodern chaise longue designed by Rob Eckhardt for the Dutch manufacturer Pastoe.

The Chaise Longue is called “Karel Doorman”, after the only Dutch aircraft carrier that the Netherlands has ever had. The armrest and metal construction are a reference to the name “Karel Doorman”, and represent the railing of a boat.

The seat has been professionally cleaned, making the fabric with “Pied de Poule” motif as good as new. Very light, minimal wear to the seat.

Memphis, Bauhaus, it’s all possible here.

H x W x D = 85-43 x 180 x 85 cm / 33.5-16.9 x 70.9 x 33.5
